American Black Walnut Valet

My client was looking for a gentleman’s changing bench, a Gentleman’s Valet. After a number of design meetings we decided to use American Black Walnut for its depth of colour and exquisite grain. My design incorporated a Korean trellis backrest and asymmetric arms, one upturned to hang trousers and the other down turned for jackets. There’s a padded velvet cushion and matching laundry bag, with a recessed leather watch, wallet and cufflink caddy to the right of the seat.
